5 February 2010: A little birdie says get down to the local library for half term fun!

Bury Library Service have organised two fun activity sessions for the half term holiday where children can learn how to make a bird feeder and listen to a series of wildlife based stories.
The sessions take place on Tuesday February 16 at Prestwich Library & Adult Learning Centre between 10.30am and12.00 pm and at Ramsbottom Library & Adult Learning Centre between 2.30pm and 4.00 pm.
It is important to feed birds throughout the year, not just at winter, so these bird feeders will help attract birds to the garden throughout the spring and the children who take part in these activities may be able to spot new visitors to their garden.
Places are limited so it is advisable to book in advance. There will be a small charge made of £1.00 to help cover the cost of materials.
